C.S. Sayers

I am a fantasy author living in Utah. In another life I was a historian in the Netherlands. My wife and I have five furry children. Three are guinea pigs (angels), two are rabbits (angels, but fallen).

I’m working on a debut fantasy novel concerned with themes of the power of mythology to build our identity and the ways in which we choose to be ourselves or others. The world is imaginatively grounded in a wide grab-bag of stories and traditions including Islamic, Celtic, and Ute beliefs. Stories are good for us.

The picture of the marvelous Cuypers Library in the Rijksmuseum was taken by my wife.
